Will be interesting to see the pics and your impressions of my part of the world. Hartlepool does not have a reputation as a glamourous tourist spot!

Congratulations for the Picture-of-the-Month award, there were a quite a few of your other picture worthy of that too, I like culture/folklore particularly when travelling.
Two consecutive postings in one day. I am delighted to see that your brilliant shot won the Picture of the Month - I thought it about time that Andreas sexed up the front cover of GLOBO ;-) and your shot did just that!!

Thank you so much for your congrats! I must say that I am looking forward to seeing the slide shows of the "food vans". This same process is repeated on the Malaysian Island of Penang where the food vans line up with an array of treats, but nowhere near as colourful as in Tahiti.
I have just returned from China and Thailand and am busy writing up a few reports and uploading my snaps.

...so glad to hear from you again. Reviewed your pictures again, 5 pages (100+) of ***** and **** pictures. I cannot understand how you missed getting an award at GLOBO till now! Perhaps put a slideshow or more together on a topic or place?
