Mexico sounds really fun I hope you have a nice time. I did not have any other travels plans before I go back to London - at which point I will be able to plan for this year.

But I have to say I am really homesick now.

Hi Isabelle,

I am planning to go to China this summer, and I would love to see Tibet. I am told that, for some very strange reasons, I need to get a permit to enter and then visit Tibet. I had a look around on various websites and I learning that to get one is not simple. One has to buy a tour with a local travel agent otherwise - no go!

Some even advise not to put Tibet on the main Chinese visa application, as this may result in a refusal to enter People's Republic of China.

I am not sure if you have the latests, but if you were recently, would you share your experiences?

thanks for your comment. The 'modern' architecture is much more impressive inside than outside. The blue glasses of the façade create a singular atmosphere.
