Thanks for your nice comments on my Guestbook! no problem about rating my pic... I'm actually developping my RAW pis from the Timkat festival..RAW format is nice but really time consuming, expecially with over 3700 pix. I'm not sure I will try this again! ;-) hehehe
cheers

Thank you very much for your Jan 18 comment on my little picture from the mountains. You must have luck to see the lakes in this light. The photo was taken in a fifteen minute interval of sunlight on a day when the hills were frequently blottted out by rain and the general weather was overcast. The thrill of hte mountain air and the occasional vistas made the walk well worthwhile however.

thank you for your congratulation. It was a wonderful trip and I wanted to tell everybody to learn that there is another picture of this country than we usually get to know.
Take care.

Hi Rafal,
merci pour tes commentaires sur mon Guestbook. Ethiopia is for sure amazing! I will now share more about the East (Harar) and the north, especially all the pix I took during Timkat festival in Gondar. I was just at the pool side during celebration, just 2 meters away from the Ark of Covenant and the Bishop. did you also attend Timkat while you were there?
cheers

Thanks for reading and rating my Philippines report.
It is a unique country, I am sure that you will love it.
Try to visit Palawan. I did not and still regret it. It seems that is a fantastic island.

Thanks for your comments on my Mostar report. I know bridges are less important than lives but I still felt outraged when that bridge was destroyed and delighted when it was re-created.

thank you so much for reading and rating my two Mexico reports.
They are the first two of what will eventually be my 'Mexico-Quartet', with reports on Chichen Itza and Isla Mujeres still in the pipeline. But that probably won't happen this side of Christmas, I have so little time. Take today, for example. It's my day off, but I will be going into work this afternoon to catch up with some paperwork. Sad, isn't it?! And I have a 1 1/2 hour commute each way!
I might stop in central London though on the way back and take a few more 'Christmas in London' pics, which I will use for my Christmas cards this year. We went to the German Christmasmarket in Hyde Park last night and is was really rather nice - had Bratwurst, mulled wine and burnt almonds - felt just like home!
