thanks for your nice words in my guestbook - you're much too kind! Yes, take your time for the Philippines pics - but not too long... ;-)))

as you already know I loved to read your travel log. And now I have even found these beautiful pics in it - very interesting 'appetizers'! :)
I am looking forward to seeing the big version -
cheers - Petra
Nice pictures in your log, man. They really illustrate your holiday excellently. Isn't a shame how taxi drivers can spoil a trip? And that's applicable to any country!
Thank you very much indeed for posting your travel log from trip to the Philippines. It is most interesting. I have really enjoyed it thoroughly. And man, I can't wait for the photos. I am intrigued by the chocolate hills! I have to admit that I have never planned to go to the Philippines. I remember Wojtek has been and did a travel log and posted some photos, which might have brought me closer to planning a visit there... But I am still unsure.
Anyway, enjoy your trip! And I am looking forward for more travel logs.
I was enjoying reading your travel log and really hope you have a great time. But I'm glad you're out of dangerous Manila! Have a safe and enlightening trip and I'm always looking forward to your pics!

Thanks for your nice comments on my Guestbook! no problem about rating my pic... I'm actually developping my RAW pis from the Timkat festival..RAW format is nice but really time consuming, expecially with over 3700 pix. I'm not sure I will try this again! ;-) hehehe
cheers

Thank you very much for your Jan 18 comment on my little picture from the mountains. You must have luck to see the lakes in this light. The photo was taken in a fifteen minute interval of sunlight on a day when the hills were frequently blottted out by rain and the general weather was overcast. The thrill of hte mountain air and the occasional vistas made the walk well worthwhile however.
