Hi Tony,

Beijing was really huge and I would have definitely enjoyed it more had weather been better... Oh, well. Nevermind. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the slideshow.

My next one in the making is Hangzhou...

Kindest regards

Back Home

Hi Tony,

I am home. I'd rather be still travelling, but hey, c'est la vie. The last night in Beijing was ... just adrenaline overload, for a lack of a better description. It was nasty!

I am actually happy about weather in London. It is warm and sunny. Better than in China. It was warmer in China, but the smog and air pollution impacted visibility so terribly, than I had not seen anything like that apart from LA, I think.

I cannot wait for the weekend... :)

Kindest regards

I only hope that, when you have read that book, you will talk about it with me.

I am glad that you like my album from Costa Brava. I tried to insert an image from a few places. I like warm climate, as I recall the nice stay in Spain.
Best regards,

Excuse me, I didn't want to stand on your nerves.
Besides: Did you ever read: Eric J. Leeds, The Mind of the Traveller, From Gilgamesch to Global Tourism? It's one of my favourites. He follows the traveller through history and in the end the reader is left desolate, when he realizes what he has lost.
