My mother lives in Germany, so I spent half of my life in this beautiful country.One of the most popular places witch could be the most interesting for you is Hockenheim.
City plan
As you already know, Hockenheim is famous because of Formula 1 racing and original name of Motodrom (German expression) is Hockenheimring. Next to Motodrom is Museum witch represent the history of motor and car racing in Germany. There is allowed to drive on the race road if you pay some small amount for insurance and after that you can drive your own car. Of course this is possible only when there are no current races at the moment. The second nice place is Zoo in Hockenheim. It’s small, but the point is that the people from the city are bringing food for animals and taking care of them. That is unusual. Third important place in Hockenheim is Aquadrom . That is big complex of swimming pools, outside and inside, Restaurant, Buffet, Cafe-Bar, Cinema, Solarium, Sauna, Kids room, Massage room, Roller-Coaster, etc. I probably forgot something, but hope that you will forgive me. It’s so easy to forget something when you have so many things on one place.

There are also Golf terrain and Stables for private and public use in the forest next to the Motodrom.

This is Roller-Coaster, which is 72m long.
As I mentioned before, there are few popular places in Hockenheim. Motodrom- Hockenheimring Museum on Motodrom Zoo Aquadrom.In one word, if you have opportunity to visit Hockenheim even when is not racing season, don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed.
Accommodations:
There are lot’s of Motels and Room’s for renting, but the problem is that you have to make reservation at least one year before you are planning to attend racing of Formula 1.

The nearest big city is Heidelberg. And if you want, you can continue your journey there. There are so many things to see and I'm sure that you will not regret. But, I will write about Heidelberg in some other report.
