This was my first trip outside Europe, and it was not bad... although I don't really want to go back there because it's quite dirty apart from the hotel area.
It was my first time outside Europe, and apart from the fact that Monastir is a rather dirty place, I enjoyed it. The water was warm, the hotel staff friendly (although some men wanted absolutely to marry me) and the food not too bad. Just a normal lazy holiday lying on the beach, playing water polo, meeting friends and so on.
Favourite spots:
the beach, of course, and then the old town of Sousse.
What's really great:
cous-cous, the mint tea, watching Tunisian TV at night, the overall atmosphere.
