Portofino is a small seaside village known for its charm. It has a marina lined with cafes with hills as a backdrop. It is very colorful and very green surrounded with aqua water.

Strolling down the marina area is a treat. There was a melodic song long ago called "I fell in love in Portofino" sung in french by Egyptian-Italian female artist Dalida. It is a love song still very fit for this place. Many locals I met still remembered the song.
