Stockholm is a beautiful city on the sea and is clearly unique. The entire area is very green and lush. We arrived by sea which gave a great image of the city.
Green islands and trees line the city as does mazes of channels. Gorgeous buildings line the isles. However, there is a cosmopolitan city behind all this.
Favourite spots:
There are many parks throughout the city. An interesting spot was an ice bar, a bar made out of ice! here are ice hotels as well; an entire hotel room is made of ice.
What's really great:
The population was very nice and seemed at ease as they strolled down parks with smiles. Not many were in a hurry and children's laughter could be heard. People seem to be in touch with nature a huge departure from life in the United States.
