Different than the rest of the Netherlands, but more on the negative side - messy, modern architecture and lacking the charms of i.e Amsterdam. Great nightlife though.
Favourite spots:
Delfshaven, Hillegersberg, Laurenskerk/market behind, Witte de Withstraat.
What's really great:
Proximity to other places - Amsterdam, Delft, den Haag, Haarlem etc.
