I had a lot of expectations going into Amsterdam. I wanted to visit the Heinekin beer factory, see the sex shows, smoke loads of weed in cafes and party hard in the clubs.... I didnt expect to get a stomach bug and be bed-ridden the entire 3 days...

Amsterdam is beautiful. Dutch seemed to be the main language spoken however we did eventually manage to get directions to find paracedemol. The amount of push bikes was the biggest surprise to me, more bikes than cars, bunches and bunches of parked bikes it spun me out. The people were friendly enough but I think every one is as long as you dont act like an idiot. Im going back to Amsterdam next year now to make up for the last trip.....

Still to be decided but probably the cafes ;) and the red light district. Places that you dont see everyday.
What's really great:
Boats on the Canal
That you can smoke pot legally... The canals were pretty amazing too and the homes all skinny and tall.
