Shreveport is co-located with Bossier City and is located in northern Louisiana about 3 hours from New Orleans. The weather is generally humid and occasionally, during the winter months, will produce freezing temperatures.
Favourite spots:
I visited many restaurants while I was there and the best was definately a seafood joint called Ralph and Kakoo's
What's really great:
The riverboat casinos were very nice along with the hotels attached to them. I played some blackjack and won about $900
Accommodations:
I stayed at the Marriot residence inn. I was great, mini condos with numerous accomodations.
Hangouts:
I went to the Holiday in bar to sing some karaoke. It was allright. not many people. One of the casinos has a party on the roof of the hotel. It sounded fun, but I was gambling and did not attend.
