Your comment on my photo "Me and the lion"

Hi Kerrie,
thank you for your comment. That's exactly the point. It stands alone, has lost his function because the gateway is lost.

Kerrie,
you really made me work. There is now another picture of me and the lion, that you can see how large it is.

Botswana

I think if you can afford to go to Botwana you should, as they have less tourists, and the reserves, game parks and NP are excellent. It's just Chobe NP that doesn't have leopards.

Unfortunately I done the budget experience and the game viewing wasn't as good a Etosha in Namibia. But it was still a wonderful experience and each game drive or boat cruise I encountered something different that I hadn't seen in another park.

I must admit though, I would love to go to Lake Nakuru, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, but that's for another trip.

All the best

Kerrie,
I have to admit that I would have had a hard time choosing between your Madrid and Cordoba reports ~ both were just wonderful! Congratulations on Report of the Month - it is so well deserved! You have a wonderful style that take me with you when you write.

Okavango Delta

Posted: 2006-11-13 09:50 AM
Hello Kerrie,

No great story, my picture was taken in the Okavango Delta; my guide gave me a waterlily necklace (and said that it would only last for fifteen minutes). The only thing I could think of was to put is on my hat.

He was right within 15 mins, it had dried up and I had to throw it away.

But I liked the the picture, it's a bit of fun.
