Kerrie,
Thanks for your comment on my Jaisalmer report. The camel ride is must, but I was still finding sand a week later!
It was nice to see you back - I haven't seen you on much lately! I like the member pic!

You missed something magical, I found it by far more exciting than Niagara, but that's becuase you can use the walkways to get up close.
Maybe one day you will return?

windmill houses in your picture
Posted: 2006-08-22 11:13 PM
Hi, Kerrie
Are they windmill houses behind of you? So beautiful! I like them. If I could see these in person, I think I will too excited to sleep. : )
Kerrie, where is it? Holland? I just know there are so many windmills in Holland.
Wait for your kind reply.
Regards!

hi!
i cant wait to read more of your reports. u are indeed a fine traveller and always whets one's appetite. at the moment i am making plans to travel to ireland for a wedding. unfortunately my contributions to globo would be limited for now as doc says i have carpal tunnel and i should not strain my hand. :(
nevertheless will do my best to contribute some pics and perhaps destination guides as a report will be too long for me:(
happy travels,
gloria

Hi Kerrie,
I completely understand about the pictures from my Athens report; my earlier travels were more about being there than capturing the memories.
But now I enjoy taking them and being a part of Globo makes me want to take better pictures. But it was a toss up of including them on the report or not, and then have everyone say it would have been better if I added pictures.
Thanks for your comments.
Amanda
PS You'll hate my Jamaican report (that I'm working on at present) as the same thing applies - mediocre pictures.

Is Batman where's it's from? I thought I remembered Klinger always saying it on MASH...anyways, glad my Tokyo tips were helpful. I can't wait to see your report and pics.

Hi Kerrie,
Thanks for your comments on my Cuba report, I appreciate it. I hope to write what can help others. And any comments on how to make information better I welcome.
Will work some more to make it better. (somehow I am not able to get my pictures uploaded - I will try to find out what is wrong - maybe because I have a mac)
But keep well, and thanks again

Hi Kerrie
Thanks for the comment on my Italian pics.
I feel a bit guilty after one of your earlier comments that I didn't remember to advise you on vegetables in Spain.Once I was in real pain from a poisoned finger and I had slept badly, following a ghastly eating experience.
I was inquiring in a bar about eating there that evening and everything they suggested had chips and no other vegetable. In a quite uncharacteristic way I really blew my top! Compared the markets with their plethora of veges.
I was told by the astonished barman to come at 2000 and sit behind a screen! Then I could have what the family would be having. I did and it worked! Great and VERY cheap. I repeated the experience a lot more politely in Malaga next day!
Cheers
David
