Heathrow

Eire,
Sad news about your daughter. Heathrow is my favourite airport, but like with anywhere you have to keep your wits about you. But it is a real shame, luckily she didn't lose much.
All the best

Hi Eire, thank you for your comment. Syria is a wonderful country. You really should try it. I added pictures to my report about Aleppo too.

Happy New Year
Posted: 2007-01-08 12:25 PM
Hello Eire,
Thanks for your comments about my Namibian report.
I trust the new year is bringing good things.
I've just returned from holiday and still in a great frame of mind. Now the planning starts for 2007 and the decision of where to go.
I'm considering India, and will be in contact to pick your brain (well I hope you don't mind).
Anyway take care.

Comment on my photo "Me and the Lion"
Posted: 2007-01-02 02:58 AM
Hi Eire,
the photo was taken by my guide. He didn't get the whole lion. It's a pity, that I forgot to tell him. So it's me and the lion.

Hi Eire,
I feel understood. Syria has many places you and I like. I was lucky to have been their at times when the tourists didN#t travel around, therefore I had most of the places to myself.

Comment on my photo of Qasr Ibn Wardan
Posted: 2006-12-30 02:20 AM
Hi Eire,
that day the place belonged to me. No tourists, no noise, only the desert in glithering sunlight. Nearby is the palace, where an old man, who just had a stroke, offered tea and his thoughts. The palaceis restored so I got a feeling of the way people lived in it.

Thank you Eire
I had a rash of this last year and Andy said he asked the person to contact me but nothing happened.
On another occasion i managed to shame the person into ann explanation.
I believe we should be ablee to see who gave what grade
kind regards
Hugh
