Youir comment on my photo The lion

Posted: 2006-12-28 07:19 PM
Hi Eitre,
yes, it is standing alone, the gateway it protected is lost, but there still is a second lion, but it doen't stand erect anymore. Ain Dara is a quiet place, situated near the beautiful Qala'at Samaan, the Simeons cloister. To be there at middaytime during the hour of thr Pan is simply wonderful.

Your comment on my photo "Tomb"

Hi Eire!
Thank you for your comment. That's indeed the question wheter she had a hand in it or not. I think there a many ways to take revenge. The community must have laughed their head off. I would have liked to know what his family said to it.
I wish you a beautiful, peaceful new year.

Hello there....

Hi Eire,

Thanks for your comments.

After spending two weeks in Namibia, I was so surprised when I realised that I craved to me local people. It was so refreshing to see them at the side of the road, playing in their yard. Now back in London I would love that kind of solitude.

It's funny how we always think we want what the other man has...

All the best

Rajasthan

Yes, Eire,
I agree. India is fascinating. I want to go there again to Rajasthan or Kerala with a sidetrip to Ladakh, and a stop in Delhi. Did you read "Robyn Davidson, Desert Places"? She goes wih the wanderers of the desert in Rajasthan. She is the one who went through the Australian desert all alone with a camel and a dog.
Take care.
