Mumbai

Maybe there is a next time for you to visit Mumbai. We didn't find Mumbai unsafe, but found it very friendly and very beautiful. It reminded me all the time of london because of its Victorian buildings and of course the cricket on the maidan.
Safe journey home.

mumbai airport

Eire,
I think the transfer time from the international to the domestic airports is actually less than an hour. But checking in and out takes up a bit of time. What is your final destination in India?
When we left for India our travel agency could not give any sensible info about the two different airports, that's why I thought it might be useful to put in the travel tips. I placed it in 'secret spots', because there is no better alternative. It would be nice if we had: "airports".
Will you spend any time in Mumbai? It was quite a revelation to us, and we loved it. I am right in the middle of writing a report on it.
When will you leave?

Thanks for the feedback on my report. I'm still new to this site, but it's been really fun communicating with other travellers. I'll be sure to write more reports on wherever I go in the future.

Hi Eire
I can only speak for the part above the water line but that certainly is very much worth seeing for its own sake.

Hi Eire,
Thaks for your message. Rajasthan is not only a historic place but also a very nice sight seeing place. Hope you have included Jaisalmer and Jodhpur and Jaipur.
Please be a bit cautious in Jaisalmer about touts offering camel safaris.
Ajanta and Ellora caves are magnificient though i have yet to visit them(i know shame on me!!).I would also suggest if time permits specially for your daughter to visit some ofthe temples in south india where paintings can be found similar to the ones in Ajanta and Ellora.
As regards to Scuba diving, clean and best place is Andaman Islands.!!
Thank you for your comments on India.

Hi Erie,
Thank you for your message.
Yes...i really got disturbed with both --you and Kerrie because both of you had written that my message was a personal ad of profit.
Kerry didn't read and understand my message correctly and quickly jumped to term it as an ad!! Must be she thought the words "travel agency" and "free service" must have made herto shoot a reply!
I was just telling the people of the Forum to visit south india too because from the posts i have read not many people in this form (i doubt if Kerrie knows too) know about south india well and so i posted a message.
Let us wish the Forum would be helpful to all.
Thank you again for your message.

Long time no talk to.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked the profile pic.
My dream was always to ride in a jet fighter so the experience (speed and adrenalin) was just awesome.
Put it on your list!!

Hi Eire,
I am so surprised that I received 2 awards this month, especially with all the wonderful things that have been posted recently. Thank you for your congratulations!
I notice that you live in California. Perhaps you will take the trip to Las Vegas, and visit The Valley of Fire yourself. It's true that the colors are unbelievable, but that is exactly what you will see, if you ever visit the place. It's awesome!
I hope today finds you well and happy!
Jim
