Hello Eire,

Is the cute kid in your profile pic, the folk dancer? I'm sure he enjoys it. Yes...tax returns.. .hard to complete just 1 return- I can imagine how hectic it must be :)

Yes we are excited about going home (even though it is going to be a short trip - just 1 month) and most of it is going to be with family and the sad part is - I don't get to take off more than a couple of weeks. I will be working remotely from India.

I'm sure you will enjoy India in August-Sept.
How are Easter preparations coming up?

Warm regards
Akhila

Hey Eire,

How you doing?

It feels like this winter is neverending - and instead of it getting warmer, it seems to be getting colder. Somehow I liked the picture from you window, there was a warmth there that I can only dream of at present.

Take care
Misty

The Balcon De Europe is a stretch of road about a half a mile long and arround one thousand feet wide..
It is lined with Paslm tree's on either side ,the ground is tiled all the way down.
It also has ice cream venders ,and stalls
At the end there is a balcony overlooking the sea in a semi circle .

Rajastan

Hi,

I hope I am not too late with the information you requested on Rajastan. I must admit that my answer was long to come.

Rajastan. Ok, there is the unavoidable Taj Mahal in Agra.

But I also recommend you to see at least Jaipur. It may take you a driving day to go from Agra or Delhi but I worth it. The palace of the current Maharaja is interesting to visit. And touring in the town is pleasant.

Ont he way you will see camels, elephants on the highway (be prepared to be frigthned some times).

If you wish you can also spend a nigth in one of the famous Havelis (former Maharaja residences). There is one in Samos 40 km westward of Jaipur (2 hours drive) where you will feel like a Maharani (may be expensive during good season). But you may find others around. If you wish I can trace the information.

On the way between Delhi and Agra, there are few interesting places like Deeg and Alvar. The road is awfull, like all raods in India anyway.

Bye
Alexandre
