thank you very much for your comment on the Prague album in my gb. I really feel tickled by your warm words:). Actually I haven't been sure whether it was good to annoy the Globies by showing pics from such a well-known place...

Hey Eire,

Yes I remember; your journey sounded really great. So yeah my wish list still includes Thailand, I really have to visit again and head north. I would also like to do the golden triangle (which I beleive the place whether three countries meet - Thailand, Laos and Myanmar). In a couple of years though.

I think this is going to be a quiet year for me. I'm hoping to go to Cyprus for a beach holiday. My first so I will see how that goes.

What about you - will you be travelling with one off your children?

pppffff, it`s not a new album - Globo put it back to the front page after I had added a date in the entry text... So nice though to get your very friendly comment. Yes, I absolutely loved these clouds, too.

Thank you Eire for your kind comments on my Tunisia reports. Very encouraging indeed. It is a nice country, diverse and welcoming. I have two more reports in the waiting, just need Andy to approve two new locations...

I can see you have also been targeted by romance-seeking ladies. They seem totally unstoppable. :)

In the end, I chose not to spend a lot of time in Thailand. Things had started to heat up (with the demonstration) and I was of the opinion it was better to get out of the capital.

But instead of heading to Chang Mai or to one of the islands I actaully flew to Cambodia. So now I must book another trip to Thailand to get a better understanding of the country.

But the little I experienced was great; although I was taken aback by locals lying to me to get me to do what they want.

Lake Atitlan makes a report buzzing with adventure. I am pleased it got the RoM award! You have opened our eyes and broadened or ideas about Central America. It is now a place much higher on my travel wish list than before.
