Hi Eire,

Many thanks for your kind comments on my reports on Tunisia (there are more to come, actually). Yeah, I read the section on the cafes in Sfax again, and it did sound a little like it was me telling gals what to do... ;)

But that was Tunisia's very fabric of nightlife and socialising. The cafes were very male-dominated and the cafes were not overly happy to have women there. But there were open-air cafes with separate sections for men and women, the patisseries were ok for both genders and the hotel bars were safe for women as well. Do you think I should clarify that in the reports??
