I am just at the age when presently i will have leisure if not youth to visit all these exotic Dutch attractions. Now it would be so difficult to watch out for the watchers giggling at my behaviour that i must depend on this description which is excellent.

Aachen Cathedral wrenches my heart.

Do you have a picture of the chicken thief statue in the chicken market behind the cathedral?
I starved for five hours awaiting a train near this Cathedral because we only had Belgian money in 1961 on my very first time out of Ireland.
To twist the words of the Heidelberg song, truly i lost my heart (for a little while) in Aachen

Thank you very much for signing my guestbook and even more thanks for looking at my Vietnam Slide show.
I have done a lot of travel in the past 12 months or so and hopefully will find the time to write about those trips and illustrate them with the pictures that I have taken. I also look forward to catching up with all my fellow Gobo’s travel pages too.

Thanks for the comments on my recent pictures and the note in my guestbook.
Yes, Madurai is distinctly difefrent from Goa. I have been struggling to get some time off my busy schedules for reports :-(
I hope to complete my Mumbai report first though.
Hope you have a nice time in Goa this year too.
I might be leaving for Jaipur tomorrow - I still haven't booked my tickets/hotel - going to be fun doing it last moment.
