Hi Marianne,
Thanks for your wishes. I had a nice time in Srilanka.We stayed in Kandy and also visited Nuwara Eliya, Dambulla,Anuradhapura and Pinnewala.
One thing which struck me the most was the similarity to my native place Kerala which I felt in many places in Srilanka especially , the drive from Colombo to Kandy.
Hope to upload the pictures and trip reports soon :-)

About my Cochin pictures: the name of the church on the image is Our Lady of Life - I believe. No sorry, I remember from Cochin only Portugeese churches...
And yes, your memory is excellent: the street with goats took me from the guesthouses to the Our Lady and onward to Jewish quarter.
