Madeira

Hi Marianne
Thanks for your comments on my madeira reports. My first reaction to your putting madeira lower on your guest list was - 'Oh, dear.' Then I was less sure. We did have some reservations and it seemed right to express them; also, I know that you rely on public transport like us. I should feel far more sad otherwise.
I still htink there's a lot worth seeing and it will not improve over time in the negative areas.
Thanks again
Cheers

Hi Marianne,
Thanks for your comment on my Hong Kong report.
I wondered whether you had returned from your latest trip to Bali via Hong Kong I believe?
How did it all go?
I hope that you had better weather than when we visited in any case.
Cheers,
Kerrie

Hey Marianne,
Thanks for checking out my report on Port of Spain. The area is very special to me as I spent a few years there.

Canon lenses
Posted: 2007-03-04 03:55 PM
Hi Marianne,
thank you for your compliments on my pictures. You are right, I am very happy with my 400D. A great new hobby which eventually might lead to some interesting things on GLOBO. Who knows ;-)
About the lenses. You are right, the kitlense that comes with the EOS is good fur just quick shots but that's it. Such an impressive camera want's to get it's chance to show what it is capable off. The shots are taken with a 70-200 f4 L USM lens. I definatelly do recommend this lense as it is the best lense you can buy for that money. Best value. All the other L lenses from canon are incredibly expensive. That's the only one that seems to be avordable and does make great sense with it's 200 length.
I also do recommend the 50 f1.4 USM lens and the Tamron 17-50 2.8 lens. Also I do not own them just yet. They seem to make the best buy for money at the moment.
Best regards,
Andy
