30,000 points - terrific
Posted: 2008-03-24 04:32 PM
Congratulations. I hope to get there before too long - I don't mind if anybody passes me on the way as long as I make it. I find benchmarks like that more interesting than positions. if I stay long enough I may fall way back in the order but a definite figure cannot be taken away.
You really should be proud as a year ago this figure would have sounded like a pipe dream. I wonder how many you will have in a year's time.
Anyway, I shall enjoy looking at your entries while you are getting them.

Hi Amanda,
Thanks for reading my log. ahh...I also wish I could write some too but so far I still don't find one place that I can write a lot about it. Perhaps it's my problem ;-).
cheers,

Photo comments missing
Posted: 2008-03-24 01:33 PM
Hi Amanda
The site seems to be having a partial Easter holiday and only showing some of the comments on photos. I wanted to be sure, whichever ones emerge later, that you know my opinions on three. I have given 5* to all these and you know well that I don't make a habit of handing out 3 5,s at a time.
With 'changing colours' I can sense the colours changing.
'Looking up' is beautifully angled and clear.
However I think 'bright lights' is among your very best and I would like to award it 20*
Cheers

Hi Amanda,
I'm spending in the region 2 months (Jul and Aug). My itinerary isn't precise yet, but I'm working on it. I always like to have everything scheduled not to lose time when I travel, although I always leave some scope for changes. I'm starting in Singapore (flying from Wroclaw throught Munich), then I go to northern Sumatra and then head southwards. Next I plan to fly to Bali from Jakarta and then travell through the island then going to Java and back to Jakarta, visiting the most important sights on Java and also going to Madura island. From Jakarta I'm going to Indonesian Borneo, namely to Balikpapan and want to traverse the Mahakam river on a public boat as much into interior as possible. Then back to Samarinda and northwards to cross the border with Malaysia and spend a week or two there also visiting Brunei. After that I plan to fly back to Malay peninsula (somewhere in northern Malaysia) and go southwards to catch my return flight on Aug 27.That's it :)
Best,
Adam

Got your email. Don't know how to email, so I'm writing in your guest book.
You are probably the only person on the entire web 2C the image since, unbeknown 2 me, globsapiens has a policy of not permitting cartoon drawings for ID images.
I posted a new image which is a photo, but it features some creative photo shop alteration. I have no idea if this will accepted, so quick check it out.
I guess, I'm just a mite paranoid about this web thing.
Peace

The list knows a silly game when it sees one! It's kindly put me back to the top but it refuses to change its ratings, keeping you as 1 and me as 2. A prophetic list?

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more!
but there's not much in reserve to throw in now.

Hi Misty
I have just passed you yet again for first place. Anybody watching could be excused for finding it like a motorway race between two loonies!
Anyway, I think I am enjoying the top position for a very brief time now and that your next passing will be final.
I must admit that, in spite of my general disinterest in points, having got so far, I hope I can keep travelling long enough to reach 30,000 but I don't mind how many get there before me.
Congratulations again.

Hi
Yeah you 're probably right i'm seasoned but it's depends on what does it mean "seasoned"? I must travel in a high season because of my job but i travel on my own, not with tourist offices:) I traveled across the Europe , few years ago i was in Syria and I this year I m going to go to South East Asia. I will add some photos of places i visited, soon.
Regards, Mike
