Hiya,
Thank you for the congrats, Amanda. Yes, it's been over 60 reports... hehe. I am pleased indeed. Yet all the awarded reports were great! And yours, which hadn't last month were super, too.
Kindest regards

Hi Amanda,

I really enjoyed Beijing. I still have some photos to upload from the Great Wall, but I am waiting to have a city added as a destination. Anyway it was nice journey. It was little bit like travel in time - in one city from old temples and hutongs till new buildings, shopping centers etc. The best example of new age in Beijing is the Opera Building. I regret that I haven't seen the new stadium. I am trying to write a report but it takes me a lot of time. But I hope to finish it soon.
But I see that you also had a nice Balkan trip. This is the unknown region for me in Europe, so I was so pleased to read you report. Did you saw Sv. Stefan ? I saw this place on the photos and it looks marvelous.
Take care

Weekend travels
Posted: 2008-06-03 12:54 PM
Hiya,
Yeah, I went all over there. I loved it. I wanted to see more, but I partied too much with the Armenians. I love quick exploring trips. With small holiday allowance, this is what it is. Only once I had a three months holiday, when I was on a garden leave (switching a job to a competitor). I went exploring 22 countries then...
Any plans to the next Bank Holiday?

I just finished reading your report and have a question about Montenegro: what is public transport like? and average price of accommodation. Good to hear that they have € as currency, makes life so much easier. What countries of formaer Yougoslavia did you vivit?

Croatia / Slovenia

It is so easy to make a mistake when uploading photos. I noticed because I have just returned from Slovenia. I can recommend this country, A small very friendly country, with good transport that makes travel easy.

Hi Amanda
I don't know when you changed your picture - I am notorious for my inattention to such things. However I have noticed now and I like it!
Cheers

Amanda,
What a great photo album you have posted! Absolutely lovely. The pictures of the Tour Eiffel, the Arch, the Invalides Palace with the play of shade and sunshine, are fabulous. Excellent job indeed!
Kindest regards,
Krys
