Amana,
Even with this very restrained show you have portrayed well the horror that I was afraid to visit when i was in Poland

Hi Amanda,
I just watched your slide show and I know how you feel. It's so hard to put into words the feelings that you experience when visiting the camp which I did back in 1995.
I recently experienced the same when visiting the Tuol Sleng Prison and the Killing Fields in Phnom Penh.
It's the sheer desolation that still permeates even after all this time.
I found that the photos of the "inmates" really haunting, the total look of despair and helplessness in their eyes will haunt me forever.

I don't like snow but if you enjoy it that's fine :) I'm glad that you like my city :P I think It's much better than our capital - Warsaw. So I hope you come back in summer when weather will be better and market square finished.
hang on

Monk Debating Continued...
Posted: 2005-11-21 01:18 PM
Amanda,
Well, you may be right but I think it could really catch on if given a proper chance.
I mean, have you ever seen one of those awfully boring Uni or highschool debate things? Dreadfully boring right? Think of how slapping in each others faces, of course in a friendly manner, would liven things up.
People might even PAY to see such nonsense. I know I would.
Its quite ingenious I think. What a lively and eccentric way to debate!
I'm also glad you are enjoying my reports. Its incentive to keep doing them.
Thanks,
Veronica

yes, this is new, in front of Main Post building and our Acuario, in the port.
It represents Barcelona, is full of simbology, and its author is a vanguardist artist.
