Thanks for your comment on Samye monastery, that was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The ringing from the monks clapping at one another echoed throughout the courtyard. It was great.

I am actually trying to introduce that style of debate here in Beijing and have plans on bringnig into my University debate circles. haha I think it'd be sweet to have to slap inches from your opponents face whenever you countereed their point. Nina and I honed this skill the entire week.

Plus, the monks sometimes look so aggressive during these debates and its crazy because you dont equate monks with aggression.

Hi Amanda!!

Sorry for the long time off with no answer!! ops!!
I was in a Safari in Kenya and then I went to the coast, Mombasa and Lamu before to try to reach Ethiopia by overlanding.
I still keep on trying to cross from Cape Town to Cairo!!
About the lion picture .... yeah! was a great experience!!!
In Zimbabwe there is a place were you can go really close to the lions, as you can see, cause they are young and they still on't see you as food!!! Just like another animal to play with!

Florence is indeed a unique and beautiful city. Visit if you get the chance! I could not possibly list all the places, museums and restaurants if I tried. All I can say is spend 3 night minumum there, and that's including some sightseeing in nearby towns.
