Hi Rudi,

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to look at my slide show on Sri Lanka’s nature and wildlife and indeed for signing my guest book. It really is a fabulous country to travel around and you are rewarded around almost every corner with a new thing to catch your attention.

I took over a thousand photos on this trip ( I did switch to digital - it's so much cheaper than 35mm) and am still wading through them all – I’m hoping to upload more slide shows in the coming weeks to bore you all with!! I just wish they made long lenses for digital cameras - I found myself getting to close to my subjects sometimes!!

thankyou for encouraging me , i add some pictures to the slide show , now i'm waiting for first day of december :) to upload some more. just like you , i prefer classic camera , in last few years my favourite machine is nikon N65 and processing on agfa prestige digital paper ( THE most realistic colours i have ever seen) and scanning by canon scanner , some of pictures are from small digital nikon coolpix 2500, but i think digital camera can not work in extreme conditions (to light , to dark) until i get somethink really professional. picture of last month - breathtaking, bye. martin

After a long long delay, my report on Dubai has finally been published. You mentioned that you had been to the airport (which is quite an experience in itself)...next time I would definitely recommend a stay of at least 1 night to check out the town.

That's too bad that you couldn't immigrate to Canada. I'm of the opinion that we have a huge, beautiful and very EMPTY country. I'm all for more people moving here and making Canada even greater than it already is. Let me know if you need any assistance on travel here. I'm always glad to help!

I rated your picture with *** . You captured the T-junction very well. I like the bend inthe road but miss something inthe foreground which could attract my attention. I know you can't do anythging about the sky, but a blue sky would have been nice.l You are not disappointed with my rating, I hope?

Well no better place to travel than to Ireland.
I am indeed encouraged by your posting.
I see you have been everywhere and brought back stunning pictures.

And you know this picture is Ireland in Feb - that is winter.
Just imagine it in summer

Rudi you came out with a Genius ideas in your slide shows such as: “Creatures big and Small”,”Tranports around the Globe”,”Rivers waterfalls,and lakes”-my favorite one so far.I have not had a chance to go through other of your slides, but I promise ,I will as soon as possible.
By the way what is the city with the waterfall on your first image?-Magnificent !!!!!!
