Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Thank you for your kind message in my guestbook. I do enjoy taking different photography angles. Makes the pictures more interesting to see as one doesnt expect the same in every album.
You have very nice pictures too.
Travel safely.
Talk to you soon

Southern Africa

Hi Rudi
Judging by the dates of your pictures you have been to southern Africa several times.
How come you went so many times was it because of your work or did you just like this place so much that you had to go back so many times?
People in Botswana told me that Kruger NP has a paved road going round the whole park.... too bad. I don't think i'd like to go there, especially after Botswana

Casablanca Airport

You were lucky that no one saw you taking this picture. Taking photos at Moroccan airports is strictly prohibited. I took one at Agadir and almost had to hand in my film. After a long plea and thousands of apologies I could keep it.

Thanks for your praise

Hi Rudi
Thank you very much for your praise of my Botswana slide show, im flattered...
You have been there too, you know what you are talking about, that's why this comment really means a lot to me!
Thank you for your answer about your languages... now even I know that tagalog is the laguage spoken in Philipina.
Thats another part I like about this site you learn a lot about the world and you can look at it through others eyes. The most interesting part of it, is when you look at pictures or read reports and travel tips on places you haven been too yourself.

Hi Rudi
Thank you very much for your kind comment on my latest slides. Well we had a brilliant time these last two days....
Thursday we ate and drank way too much, but what can you do when its so delicious.
Looking forward to your stellenbosch report/pictures... cheers, glugg glugg glugg
In your profile you state that english is your first language is this true? Sounds strange for a bavarian in lederhosen...
And where does this Tagalog language belong to?
