Dear Hugh,

thank you for your comment on my Rome picture.

Yes, I did take it in March of this year when I visited Rome for a few days with my sister. You can't see it from the photo, but we had just had the most torrential downpour, luckily this happened while we were in the queue waiting to get in. As soon as we entered the Colisseum the sun cam out!

Best

Sri Lanka Slideshow - eye to eye!

Posted: 2004-11-21 06:49 AM
Hi Hugh,

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to look at my slide show on Sri Lanka’s nature and wildlife and indeed for signing my guest book. It really is a fabulous country to travel around and you are rewarded around almost every corner with a new thing to catch your attention.

I did think of you when I took the picture at Trincomalee of the deer and the crow - eye to eye - Indeed Trincomalee is so Irish sounding...but there the comparison ends!!

I took over a thousand photos on this trip and am still wading through them all – I’m hoping to upload more slide shows in the coming weeks to bore you all with!!

Again many thanks for your interest and comments,

Cheers, Brit.

Hugh,
Really sorry, but I don't know the history of the hats. I've never been to Columbian and let's say that's my excuse, but you have made me curious, so I might try searching to net for some info. I'll keep you informed.

Tranquility in Ireland

Posted: 2004-11-15 06:20 PM
Hugh,

Really enjoyed the pics you posted of Ireland, especially on a gloomy rainy day like today. They are beautiful and really reflect how tranquil many of these places are on that beautiful island. Thanks for sharing!

Your sister...

Hugh

I saw her on the online list yesterday and had a look at her site. A nice Irish Lady joining us I thought, something Hugh will sure like... and you were busy complimenting her in her guestbook about her picture... now everything is much clearer ;-)

Hi Hugh

Thank you for looking so thoroughly at my pictures, enjoying them and letting me know! That's a great thing in this community!

About the Bhaktapur temple it's just too sad the weather wasn't any better.

You didn't reply in the forum yet wheter you need help with uploading pictures to a slide show or to a report....
