Thnx for your comments and must I say... do NOT hesitate and go !!! Nature is very nice but most of all these people are so friendly when they see some stranger and not alone because they want to sell you something. They are truly very helpfull if its within their powers...very hard sometimes to refuse anyhing ;-)

Hi Rafal,
I am glad you like my photos of Sylt!
I took a lot of photos (maybe too many), but my excuse is that I was trying out my brand new camera, a Panasonic DMC-FZ38, which only came on the market in September. The previous model always got great reviews, so I took a chance. I am really pleased with it, because my old Fuji was a hand down from my partner after the manual button broke. But I want to learn more about photography, so it's great to have one where everything works! And it is a lot lighter than the old one.
I really like your slide show of Montenegro - great scenery!
I'm going to the German Christmas market here in London tonight, so more mulled wine. ;-)

first of all - and very belated - Happy Birthday!
Looks like you had a great time in Paris and I am looking forward to see your 'professional' photos.
We'll be going to Paris some time next year, I still have vouchers for 2 free tickets on the Eurostar.
Unfortunately, Nambia will have to wait for another time, we don't have the money or the time this time 'round. We are going to a wedding in Pretoria, then fly down to the Port Elizabeth on the coast and take some time driving along the Garden Route and Klein Karoo before spending a few days in Cape Town.
But it's nearly 4 months until we go and no travel planned until then.
New Year's in Portugal sounds great. We've got no plans yet.
