I told you at the time that you would be there far more quickly than anybody then had! I expect to see you 'demoting' me before long and you will certainly have well deserved it.
I have been quite manically addicted to fmaily history recently and have neglected other things but I am about ready to do something now on my trip to Coimbra.

I asked you because we were greatly disappointed with Zanzibar, although we did like the almost communist-like appartments away from Stone town's centre. I like souk / medina in Fez and other places in Morocco far better. We never made it to Madagascar, had booked a flight, but it was cancelled when the sitting president didn't want to leave office. We went to Indonesia instead.

Just looked at your Zanzibar slide show. Very nice photos, also the ones of Nungwi. We were in Stone town, Nungwi and some other places a few years ago. You are well travelled that's why I would like to know if zanzibar lived up to your expectation and if you consider this the most beautiful island on earth (as it claims to be)
