Hi Krys,
Well your album from Khiva was just stunnig. Beautifull pictures, beautiful places. Those palaces, houses mosaics looks almost unreal. They are masterpiece of the architecture. I was watching the phostos few times and I can't stop.

Krys,
I was enthralled by your album of Khiva. The colors are just stunning! I enjoy seeing how you frame your photos - you are so talented! The wavy walls at sunset and the minaret centered with the sun behind it are both just fantastic photos. Actually all 76 are wonderful!

I hope the eclipse was truly awesome.
Well done that you to have the determination to go to see it through.
I am glad that the welcome of the people has not changed since I was there in 1991/1992.
From what you say some other things have not changed either.
I very much appreciate your message

I love your descriptions of the visa negotiations and the adventures with hotel booking etc. I spent many happy days in Russia in the early 1990s and from your descriptions some things remain the same despite vast and rapid progress in many other aspects.
I look forward very much to reading how your journey will unfold.
Say hello to the Kererovskaya Oblast for me should your bus or train pass that way

Thanks Krys for your advices regarding Armenia and Georgia. I wont be able to see everything but still half of them will be wonderful. I thought at the begining to have one month of holidays, now I have only two weeks, so I had to say good bye to Azerbejdżan.
But to plan my trip I will certainly use your and Jorge advices.
I keep my finger crossed for your Russian voyage :)
Pozdrawiam
Rafał
