Hello,
Thanks; I think there is so much more of Malaysia to explore as I just used it as a city break. But it has one of the oldest rainforests in the world; they also have a distinct culture that if you leave KL can be very interesting to discover. Well that is what I'm told. I looking forward to my next trip to see more.
I would say, never rule it out.

Hi Kris
It's again me, but I couldn't resist. I've just watched you Ghana slide show. It just stunning. I didn't realised that it can be so beautiful. Just awesome. Thanks to this slide show I put this country on top of my wish list.
Great work

Madeira - in the rain.
Posted: 2008-04-24 06:57 AM
What a shame we can't grade the slideshow - it's fine.
In a week on the island we didn't see snow [of course] but there was practically everything else. We went to Santana on the wettest day and I must say those traditional houses got up my nose a bit. The only other thing we saw on Madeira remotely like them was a shed at the botanical gardens at Funchal.
We were lucky with the weather in all the great gardens and we saw the tops from Curral das Freiras - but never all at the same time!
Cheers

Loving Awesome Africa
Posted: 2008-04-17 06:12 AM
Thanks for sharing some of your memories of Africa with us. My heart is specially with the people of Malawi and Namibia, looking forward to your reports from there. On a rainy day I will be doing short reports on Walvis Bay (Namibia), Mbabane (Swaziland) and Mont-aux-Sources (Lesotho) to complete the African part of my GLOBOmap. RRG

Krzys,
That is amazing....
I'm a babe in comparison. I'm over fifty but I haven't counted in a while, but it's only about 52 or 53 I think. I seem to find myself being jealous - ooh well.
Catch you later

Hey Krzys,
You are really making your way up the rankings - good on ya. You have been to so many wonderful places, it really is a joy to share your experiences.
Btw, how many countries do you reckon you've been to?

Hi Kris,
Great slide show from Cuba. I really like to go there. Particulary i like the Trinidad photos. The city seems to be so lovely. I always had Cuba on my wish list, but now I am sure that need to go there soon. Thanks for posting this lovely photos.
By the way - did you take a ride with this old cars ?
Take care

Ghana coastal forts...
Posted: 2008-04-13 09:48 PM
Years ago I visited Ghana but I saw only Cape Coast and Elmina forts... I am surprised that now so many of them are restored and open for the tourists... Thank you for showing them. How about a short report with the practicals: where are they, how to get there, where to sleep, how much does it cost?... Could be very useful!
