Many thanks for your congratulations. I was a little surpirsed with the awards, actually. I am not sure if this is because there was no other noteworthy activity or submission in the categories or otherwise, as I have not monitored Globo too closely lately. Anyway, I am very pleased of course.

p.s. Do you also find an error when clicking on the Pictures - Photo Albums link, which instead of albums shows reports?

Thanks for the congratulation's and the welcome and comments on my photo's.
I love that Koala photo, one of my favorite's.
I think the lady at HoiAn may have been a ferry woman, or may just have wanted money for us taking photo's of her, I didn't wait to find out for sure. She was heading to me and another tourist, and here, they did want money for photo's.

Many thanks for the congrats. I have not been expecting anything from Globo. I am sadly under the impression that Globo staff have somewhat lost interest in our community... This is why I have not been a frequent visitor myself.

Anyway, I am pleased with the recognition. And I am very happy with your kind words.

I was surprised to get a prize two months in a row! I am so lucky to be close to Central America. Travel there is cheap, aside from airfare, and the nature is still very unspoiled. Not many tourists think to go there which is terrific for me but their economy could certainly use the boost.

I am off to Nicaragua in August - a **** room is $60. I splurged in Granada and got a room in the finest hotel in town for $90 because I want to be on the central plaza. We have a beachfront bungalow on an island in the Caribbean for $65. If it weren't so inexpensive, I could never afford to travel this much. I truly am fortunate!

thanks for visiting the beginning of terezin - more to come as time allows. i actually am on a very rare vacation - a week at our flat in florida - but will undoubtedly get back to gs on my return after catching up with a week of work. this, as with dachau, was a sobering experience.

hi, petra, hope you are having a pleasant late evening. thanks for checking out the latest edition of prague, on which it sadly appears that the better of the two disks is gone forever to places unknown.

and yes, i knew when i put up the st. george image that the cupola was cut off. a little late now to make amends. what is worse is that the other disk had st. vitus cathedral and the spanish synagogue.

been busy, checking out a few things on here waiting for my courier to arrive. let us see what you have added. n.
