Hey Petra,
Thanks very much. I hadn't realised that I got the award last February; I went to Hawaii a few years ago, so it is really nice relive the memories.
Have a nice day

Surprised the heck outta me!

Petra, I was surprised to get MoM - I need to be on more often. My tendency is to hop on when I have something to contribute but I forget about the importance of comments on other people's contributions. My goal is to be better about that - you set such a good example!

Wroclaw
Posted: 2011-02-23 07:29 AM
Thank you Petra for your comments and stars to my new Wroclaw report! I am not really back yet, though. I just thought I ought to contribute a little as I was really impressed with the city. Again!
I have a number of reports in progress. But no time to finish them off. I will try to complete one on Krakow and write a complete new one on Torun, where Copernicus was born. I might finish Krakow first, and do Torun next month.
I would want to upload some new pictures as well, and I have a few interesting travel tips for restaurants and bars in a number of Polish cities, but simply no time to sit in front of the computer...
I guess, Globo will have to wait until I have a real holiday again ... and that is August, if all goes well. In the meantime, I will be in Cyprus, Quebec and Ghana, but not sure how much time I will have to report back on those short trips.
I hope you are well. It is great to see that you are keeping your finger on the Globo's pulse.
Kindest regards
Krys

Hey Petra,
Thanks very much. I actually enjoyed putting together this slideshow, I was inspired by Britman and his 30 clicks (I think that's what it was called).
I'm doing well, but just have a lot of things on at present. It doesn't seem like there is any travel in my future for this year.
What about you?

st. john

of course st john is everywhere. there is a particularly garish rendering at st peters in vienna. as for the poem, i can understand his sentiments but cannot understand a word of german.

understand perfectly what you are saying - if there are three ratings of two, a five will be rejected. there was one picture of which chris was fond but his star selection was apparently voided.
btw, is there a way that outside pictures can be sent to members of gs, that is, do you and i have email addresses here which can be accessed from other sites. that way i can send all my alligator images around. :)
