Hi Tony,

I am not sure if all cameras lie. I heard that a camera adds ten pounds ;) Well, thanks for your kind words again. I really like taking pictures. I have been using my heavy camera for a long time now, and I am eyeing up some new models, so I can have more flexibility with photographing in unfavourable light conditions. But I do not want to spend any money, of course. :)

London is quiet today. Nothing is happening compared with yesterday. Boring :)

It was totally blown out of proportion! The only sticky situation was at the RBS branch near the BOE. They did smash the windows and a couple of people bumped their heads and a couple of officers suffered scratches as things were thrown at them. This happened for about two minutes and then situation was back to normal peaceful protest. The rest of the City would not even realise something was going on. Seriously. The police asked for the Bank station to be closed for Waterloo & City and DLR lines. That's it. Live was going normal otherwise. The demonstration at the BOE was on a such a small area, that if you passed through Monument station nearby, you would not even notice much. Perhaps streets seemed a bit more crowded, but not excessively.

I am not sure how things developed at Trafalgar Sq. I know that the Green campaigners pitched tents at the front of the Emission Trading Exchange, and surely this disrupted traffic. But it is slow moving in London at any day, so no different!

I have absolutely no intentions of mingling with the protesters, even unintentionally. I will steer away, way away from them. I will figure out how in the morning.

Now, I think it is time for me to retire (go to bed!).

So, I gather you are a night owl as well, huh? It is 1:40 am in London now, and I just can't force myself to go to bed. In the morning, there are some protests taking place in connection with the G20 meeting, so I am not sure I will be able to leave my flat. I live too close to the hot spots... Perhaps I will sleep in and then will see if it is safe to make my way to work. Fortunately, I can also work from home, if the situation gets too sticky. This is probably why I am still up...

I have been also thinking of doing a report on Cornwall myself. I still have some notes from my trip there on one of my computers. I just could not convince my muse to rise to the occasion. She has not been very keen on me recently. I really do not know what her problem is :)

So you are in Greece? How nice. Enjoy.
