Went in March '98' to the resort of Hammamet. I can quite safely say this has probably been one of my favourite package holidays i've taken though the weather was a little cooler than we'd have liked but considering it was March it was still in the 20's.

Favourite spots: |
The Medina was quite nice-Though if you don't want to pestered it's probably wise to steer clear. Once inside it is alley way after alley way of tourist souvenir shops which have various hand carved wooden ornaments which i quite enjoyed rummaging through.

What's really great: |
I especially enjoyed the walk in to the main town along the beach. Our Hotel was situated right on the beach and we were able to walk along for about a mile to the Medina. Lovely in the morning too. If feeling lazy though you could also hop on a camel which would take you.
