What a perfect succinct statement this is
"I think it's great to offer advice about what makes a travel photo interesting to others, but in the end what really matters is offering a space where we can freely share our unique and personal vision of our world."

I will not use this distribution scheme which proposes how often a rating should be given. I like to give five or four if I like the picture. I generally dislike rating lower except for really poor stuff.

Maybe it is this way because I look at a picture if it has something interesting in it. Others I don't open to big size and therefore do not vote.

The idea with named rating is a good one!

Eire and all,

This is to clear up things about the Bombay report that looked like an adverisement.

Dan wrote me this message, which explains a lot:

[QUOTE]I was surprised to get your thoughts about my report that it was a commercial. As an American you might understand why I was attracted to Americas Medical but maybe you woudn't? I don't know about any of the other medical tourism companies for that good enough reason for me. And since I came with first hand experience of their services, I would guess that would both qualify me to say what I said and that others would be informed as they should be. I found the thread that caused me to write it up:{END QUOTE}
