Hi Kerrie
Thanks for the invitation. At the age of almost 70 I have to admit that it's only in the last 15 years that I've stopped thinking of Australia and New Zealand as being a bit like England and Denmark in terms of proximity! Now you may confuse me again. Still, you never know. I have a standing invitation from relations in WA as well. We had an abyssmally memorable flight to Lima from Madrid once and from Zimbabwe to London. I'm not entirely without hope however,
I think the overview was a great idea, to the extent that I might copy it some time and do one on Portugal, which I think is a much neglected country.

Kerrie,
I really enjoyed your street scenes from Tokyo, but I have the admit that the waterfall is my favorite. This is a marvelous slideshow!

Kerrie,
I enjoyed your Ronda photos very much. My two favourites are the siesta and the photo you took through the bars. If I had to choose one it would be the one through the bars as I liked the composition.

Hi Kerrie
Great idea and, as you say, perhaps one should be more prepared to state the obvious at times, although some of your good tips are far from obvious.
What a difference the time of year makes. I shouldn't have dreamed of accommodation problems in Córdoba. I've been four times but never in peak time.
The one point I found odd was the one about breakfasts. I often had to leave a place early - as country bus services in winter are geared almost entirely to the needs of local workers. Only once did I find breakfast a problem.
In particular the bus from Cazorla into the Sierra left at 0630. A cafe was really busy with breakfasts - and brandy!

Kerrie,
I really enjoyed your Ronda slideshow - I admit that the Siesta pic is probably my favorite! Nicely put together!

Congratulations to you for your 3rd GLOBOaward. That Angkor slide show is increadible. It is unbelievable how magestic and strong man can built structures yet over time plants and nature take back their rightful space

wonderful slideshow, i'd love to go there, it's almost in the air , this spanish spirit of ancient but always vibrant culture , "dancing fire",,, missing maybe more of cordoba it self , some more buildings from outside, but it's great no matter what. greetings, martin.
