Hi Krys,
interesting questions indeed - where can we read the answers? ;-) Hope your arm is getting better and better!

Safaris

Hi Krys,

I didn't take your comments as a criticism at all.

As far as I know, foot safaris were not on offer in Addo and Schotia, but it sounds fantastic. Not sure if we would be able to do one though, as my partner had a couple of knee operations and we might become lion food as we wouldn't be able to run very fast! ;-)

Arm & Trip.

Hi Krys, good news about the arm, give it time to heal properly and all will be well, The Princes never go anywhere without armed security nearby even in acity let alone the wilds of Africa, get better soon, Regards, Tony.

Thank you

Hi Krys,

thank you for reading and rating my report.

The spotlight was quite small and was only used for about half an hour or so on the way back from quite a remote part of the park to the lapa and then for another 10 minutes or so to the gate. As you know, it gets dark very early in Southern Africa and I think it also helped the driver find his way and us to duck under low hanging branches, which we had to do quite often.

There are no night drives, so from 9pm the animals don't have to worry about the lights.

Thanks again for your vote and comments.

All the best

Krys,

An incredible picture in your travellog; but I'm glad to know that everything went well and that you are healing nicely.

How long will you be in a cast?

Hi Krys

Glad to hear you are ok, it seems I may have been a bit jealous of all the attention, had a blackout, a fall and loads of stiches in my forehead, also concussion causing hallucinations, back home now and on happy pills, missed Globo for a few days as I couldn't use my PC, triple vision! hope all continues well with the arm, Warmest Regards, Tony.
