Hello again,
I hope you are well on your trai, Kris. Just let you know that from St Laurent there are frequent pirogues on Moroni River crossing the border to Albina - little village on the Suriname bank. In Albina at the landing site minibuses are waiting offering a share ride to Paramaribo - you should not have any problem during the daytime. Just watch your pockets and your pack.

I am really happy to read that you managed all necessary paperwork and you are on your way to this interesting continent. Brazil is safe apart from the big towns, but to cross the Suriname and Guyana will be a challenge, even for the experienced traveler like you. Take care and enjoy! I wish you happy voyage, Kris!
