Good album of Budva, nice to see all those, sometimes dramatic, pictures in one go, Petra tells me you start for China tomorrow, have a safe trip and come back with some more of your excellent pics, Bon Voyage, Tony.

we were obviously very lucky Krys, pleasant weather and no rain, no queues at the palace which is unlike any museum I have ever visited, it was never my desire to visit Venice again for any more than a couple hours but my wife insisted and I am glad she did, to have the time to stroll everywhere with no time pressure opens up a whole new world that many visitors never see, I am certainly not a city person and much prefer hills and open countryside, but despite the cost and effort involved Venice worked it's charm on me for sure. Keep up the excellent work on your pics and reports my friend. Kindest regards, Tony.

Hi Krys, I enjoy all your pics and would like to relate a short story about Venice, our last visit was in 2005 and were fortunate to stay at the Metropole Hotel, a short walk from St. Marks we decided to spend our last day exploring The Doges Palace before returning to Croatia. Bad timing! there was a terrorist alert as we reached the entrance and all my camera equipment was held by security guards. The interior is a photographers paradise, to be able to cross the Bridge Of Sighs and explore the prison was a real eye opener, all the pictures I have now are in my head but one day we will return and I will try to time it better next time. Cheers, Tony.

Hi Krys,
what a gorgeous album of a magical place! I don't agree about your text (and the 'lido' ;-)) - you have to have the 'eye' for such good pics, beyond doubt! Thanks for sharing!
