Hi Krys,
though the described status of the city you managed to get some great captures! Bravo! And the night shots are clever - no constructions sites visible... ;-)
Hope the London evening is as warm and smooth as our evening here!
Have a nice weekend - Petra

Ok, that mamba you are talking about is snake species that is commonly found in Africa n is the Africa's dangerous, poisonous and feared snake. So when we talk about this word mamba, it's a noun. The other word mamba I was referring to is a general swahili term for crocodile. You can learn more in http://kamusiproject.org/sw/dictionaries This will enable you to translate english words to shahili and vice versa.
I have never been to Meru but am planing to visit there soon. May be it's because Meru is very near to me. Other places u have mentioned I have visited, n as u have said, coastal regions are very nice.
I have also not been out of Kenya but I hope my time is coming to visit a different country.
Regards,
Kamau

Krys,
You've got some really nice night pics in your Shanghai album, too bad about all the construction. Looking forward to seeing some more....

Hi Krys,
It was really interesting to read your opinions about China. I have been there a year ago so I can compare your feelings about the country with mines. I see that I liked more China than you, but we both didn't like same things: smog and crowds....
Take care
Rafał

So good to hear that you are home safe and sound. I just read the majority of your travel log and from the sound of it, your own bed at home probably never felt so good. I was shocked at the attack on the hostel and completely appalled at the action (or inaction) of the police. So hard to believe these things still happen in "civilized" countries. I hope the hostel owner will recover. But on the bright side and despite the smog, I'll bet you got some great pics and am looking forward to seeing them!

for your kind congrats on the AoM award. I was very surprised (and glad:)) about getting a prize for my pics. In my eyes you are the first aspirant for all kind of prizes every month! I really loved your Venice album in July!
Take care - Petra

Welcome home pal, I really enjoyed your logs and did get quite concerned about your welfare on the last bit but hey! if you haven't been involved in aggro at some time you haven't really travelled, a week in Benidorm or Blackpool doesn't hit the same spot:-) Cheers Friend, glad to have you back safe and sound. Tony.

It's a relief to find you back home safe and well, have you thought about trying to get a newspaper to take your hostel report? it would sure make interesting news!. Take care, Tony.
