It's a relief to find you back home safe and well, have you thought about trying to get a newspaper to take your hostel report? it would sure make interesting news!. Take care, Tony.

I have enjoyed your log, you have my sympathy with this latest incident, it's about the worst I have heard, even when I was behind the Iron Curtain in the early sixties never once did i feel threatened, except by the NKVD, and certainly not by the people, China has certainly got to look to it's laurels if they are going to be a part of this modern world. Have a safe rest of your trip and journey home, I look forward to your pics and report, Kindest Regards Krys, Tony.

Well, it sounds like the second half of your trip has as many challenges as the first. Still, Datong sounded great. i'll have to check it out the next time I go.

Hi Krys,
Mabe I am not aggressive enough or too modest. but ,aybe I should try again. Thank you for your encouragement. This story you told of Poland is ridiculous. Naturally all journeys depend on the part of the country you are going. Trekking tours are still be made this year, as my travel agent told me.

Hi Krys. thanks for the info on currency, today's log is brilliant! your humourous and irrevent remarks gave me a good laugh, I hope the Chinese authorities have a sense of humour:-) Keep well Friend, Tony.

Hi Krys, thank you for the flowers. I am working on it, but first I have to get a premium account. I only hope it is safe to pay over the internet. We certainly will not get a lot of photos the next years, especially because no one wants to know. I tried to publish a reprt on the journey but the newspapers didn't want it.

Your experience with the duck made me laugh, it must have been pretty awful for you to consider a Burger King:-) btw, what is the value of the Chinese currency against the euro? I cannot find the symbol on my computer and may have google it, it would be interesting to know the relative prices. Happy travelling Krys, Kindest Regards, Tony.
