Chicago - the windy city. A great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there :-) But as big cities go it is pretty cool I guess. I walked around with my neck craned upward - there are some TALL buildings in this city!
Favourite spots:
I celebrated my 30th birthday at Dick's Last Resort (unfortunately that was a few years ago so I don't know if they are even still open).
What's really great:
Dinner at Medieval Times was a blast - expensive but everyone should do it at least once in their lives.
Sights:
The view from the top of the Sears Tower is pretty cool.
Accommodations:
Palmer House is a gorgeous hotel downtown. Expensive but beautiful.
Restaurants:
Harry Carey's had some awesome pasta the last time I was there. And of course Medieval Times is a must do!
Other recommendations:
The museums are awesome as is the walk along the lake.
