Tickets were a bit on the expensive side but were worth the cost to commute from our hostel in Sterling. The weather was a bit chilly but it didn't rain and I really loved the fog early in the morning.
Favourite spots:
All the pubs.. I can't remember the names of them all, but the chips were the best I've ever had.
What's really great:
Just wandering through the city and taking pictures. The people were really nice.
Accommodations:
We stayed at a backpacking hostel in the nearby town of Sterling (located between Glasgow and Edinburgh) called Willy Wallace's Backpacking Hostel.
Hangouts:
They're all good. I loved the ones located in the basements of older buildings. The atmosphere there was incredible.
