Very different to anything I had ever seen before. Entering Italy from the north, the first thing I noticed were the plants-- they reminded me of Florida, only in Europe. The weather was warm, even in the fall.
Favourite spots:
We passed so many small suburbian towns I can't even remember the name of the place where we stopped, but we had dinner and took a walk along the beach.
What's really great:
I saw a beach for the first time on my way to Milano. The cathedrals throughout the north were all beautiful.
Sights:
Milano at daybreak, before the tourists fill the square, is a magical sight.
