Truthfully I was not all that impressed by Strassbourg, but it was still fascinating to me in a way, as it was my first visit to France. I walked around with my husband through the semi-empty streets and took in the sights, sounds and smells...
Favourite spots:
The old unfinished Cathedral. The detail is incredible and I took several pictures of it from all angels.
What's really great:
We went on Easter so it was really still and peaceful. The church bells were all we could hear in the morning.
Accommodations:
none, it was a day-trip.
Other recommendations:
The train station was the only place that was open.
