Hi Marianne

Thanks for reading my reports. I hope you enjoy India and Bangalore (one of my favourite places), in particular.
Yes, the hotel prices are in Rupees. (INR), you may want to get the latest prices from websites though. I shall send you some links if you don't have them already.
Please feel free to ask for any information.
Cheers

Euro Symbol OK
Posted: 2005-12-10 11:27 AM
Hi Marianne, I see the "Euro" symbol displayed as a square at GLOBO, not other websites though! Checking on another computer (XP), I now see it's only my system (Win98) with that problem! I reported this to Staff months ago and assumed it was something still to be fixed on the GLOBO side. Thanks for helping to clear that up! RR

India and Czech Republic
Posted: 2005-12-06 01:23 PM
Hi Marianne
What a wonderful outlook! I really regret the heat of India that I think would be more than I could manage.
Having a guide from the country in the Czech republic will make your visit there terrific as well.
Cheers, David

Hallo Marianne!
Leuk dat je het foto mooi vindt! Bedankt ook voor het schrijven! Het foto was genomen van het balkon of mijn huis om 5:00 uur s'morgens . Het is dus geen zonsondergang!
Groetjes!

I understand if critize my picture, maybe because you are from Netherland and you know what it means 'Spoorweg" is :-) thanks
When i was visit Jebres raillway station (the originall named of the station), i has make a dozens shot. I was there couple hour, enjoyed the atmosphere of this old building. One of the picture, was the old steel chair with unique bending handgrip like you saw at my report.
Maybe next time i should upload the front side of the JEBRES building so you can figure it out better.
Why the gave name 'Spoorweg' not in English or origin language? This is because the Dutch was here centuries ago. 'Holland sprachen' (forgive my word) was commonly wide used at that era, my old dad talk with Dutch, my grand father did that, most of the oldies speak in Dutch.
Allrught, now i should say a bit in Dutch:
Tot ziens!
